Surprise! You Have Been Blessed!

Life is to be lived and enjoyed in whatever station you are in life. This is possible when we realize that life is a gift from God. You received it without paying a dime for it. Billionaires and millionaires have left the earth today; many wish they could’ve bought more time with their wealth.  “No one has power over the spirit to retain the spirit, And no one has power in the day of death (Eccl. 8:8).

 Since your life is a gift from God, it is time that you start seeing yourself as such. You are God’s gift to the world, a gift among gifts. I appreciate the time that you give me, free of charge. You provide comfort, encouragement, godly counsel, and a friendly smile that is free of charge yet priceless at the same time.  Jesus told his apostles that he gave the power to perform the miraculous to be generous with it. He told them, “Freely you have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8). God gave us these good things freely; they are to be used and used often.

It is not God’s will that I present myself as a gag gift designed to upset, discourage, frustrate, and mock another with my presence and behavior because we are dealing with lives that are souls that need what God has given us to provide for them. So, share the goodness. “Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matt. 7:9-11). God will provide all my needs like He always has. The gifts that I am seeking are the people who are in my life.

As children of God, He constantly invests his Spirit in you. As a result, people will always want you around, and you will always be in high demand. Now, Satan may not want you around and will have others act against you at every chance. Remember, the ungodly and the demon-possessed would act out in the presence of Jesus because of who He was. You are God’s child. Like Jesus, knowing who you are and using your gift gives you the strength to proceed. Remember whom you work for (God). Remember, you are a gift; present yourself as such to the world.
