Release Unwanted Pressure

We put a lot of pressure on ourselves as we strive for faithfulness to God and our worldly or secular success with the tools He has graciously provided. Like Israel of old, “God has blessed the works of your hand” (Duet. 2:7). Technology has our eyes everywhere, and it has become more difficult for you to hide the treasure within that God gave you. There is an unnecessary pressure in your soul as you suppress what is trying to become free. Any object or person, including yourself, will burst with too much pressure. There is no need to explode on others, yourself, and God. God can help you release the stress.

It is stressful to believe you are the first to face something. I have been there, I thought my situation was so rare and complex, yet God, through His word, said no, I am not. “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (1 Cor. 10:13). Not everyone is vocal about their trails, tests, and temptations, but rest assured since God said it is common, we are all going through it. Allow God to relieve that unnecessary pressure by knowing there is a godly way of handling your many trials without you exploding on those who are there to care for you.

Believe in the providence of God. He provides at the right time. One way he gives is by sending you. We are in somebodies face for a reason; it’s not to waste their time or harm them. God sends us to be their helper; it is natural for a Christian to do so due to Spirit who is called the Helper dwells within us (John 14:26). Your work as a child of God is daunting or intimidating, yet it is needed in a world that has become unbalanced with evil deeds. God needs someone like you to do what is right. Don’t become overwhelmed; others have done it before, and now it is your turn. Jesus told his disciples, “For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors” (John 4:37-38).

As you know, there is a difference between laboring and reaping. While you work hard and labor, know a reward is coming. When you reap the reward, remember those who paved the way. In the end, someone will remember you. God will remember and welcome you.
